Last year saw the Danish trend of 'hygge' sweeping the world of fashion, food and interiors.
But there is a whole new wave of buzzwords to know in 2018 - and some are so obscure you'll struggle to pronounce them.
Experts at Shutterfly have unearthed some of the most difficult-to-translate words from across the globe - all of which reveal a little about the culture of the countries they hail from.
The Norwegian word peiskos - for which there is no English equivalent - refers to fireplace cosiness, while Croatia's fjaka describes the act of relaxing your body and mind and delighting in the feeling of doing nothing.
