Meghan Markle's engagement ring appears to have been tweaked for a SECOND time after going 'missing'

The Duchess of Sussex appears to have made further upgrades to her engagement ring by apparently adding diamonds for a second time.

Meghan Markle was pictured without her engagement ring last year and for eight months was spotted without the jewellery, before she wore it again earlier this year. The Duchess was pictured with her diamond engagement ring during a trip to Jamaica with Prince Harry and then again in February as she joined husband Harry for his Invictus Games tour in Canada. At both appearances, Meghan could be seen wearing the band with what appeared to be 'upgrades'.

Meghan's engagement ring is a beautiful three-stone ring, featuring two diamonds from Princess Diana’s jewellery collection. Yet just 18 months after her engagement, Meghan made changes to the jewellery replacing the yellow gold band with a delicate diamond-studded band instead. The ring also features a a centre cushion cut diamond sourced from Botswana, chosen by her husband Harry.

However, it's been spotted that the ring appears to have grown in size again as in more recent pictures it appears bigger. Earlier this month, Meghan joined pals Kelly McKee Zajfen and Abigail Spencer for the Alliance of Moms photoshoot and Meghan appears to have upgraded her ring yet again.

Eagle-eyed fans have been quick to comment on the notable change to the jewellery, as one wrote: "I’ve been saying she took the ring off to slowly change the size of the diamond. What do we have here!?" Another shared: "So that’s why she didn’t wear it for so long. In the hope that no one would compare pictures." Whilst a third added: "Yeah, that looks like a diamond twice the size of the original one." Another person commented: "I noticed that too. She definitely had a larger diamond reset."

However, some fans of Meghan have defended the potential upgrade as one wrote: "A lot of women have their diamonds upgraded." Another pointed out: "It could be the same ring just with two other bands on her finger, a wedding band and eternity one perhaps?"

Meghan has recently confirmed via her production company Archewell that she is working on a new project for Netflix, which will "celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertaining and friendship". The show, which ties into her new lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, is said to be filmed away from her and Harry's California mansion as they aim to keep their two young children out of the spotlight.

Meghan's new brand launched last month with an insider telling the Daily Mail: "It’s a lifestyle and cooking brand called American Riviera Orchard. The brand is meant to coincide with the launch of a new cookery show for Netflix. Meghan will be making, and selling, products such as jams. And at some point there will be a book and blog etc."

Harry has also landed a new project with Archewell as he focuses on a documentary and behind the scenes look at polo, a sport he has played for many years. He was spotted filming at the Royal Salute Polo Challenge for charity Sentebale’s fundraiser in Florida and spending time with close friend and Argentinian player Nacho Figueras.
