As Meghan Markle is in the midst of launching her new lifestyle and cooking brand, American Riviera Orchard, it seems she's struggling to find a new CEO to run it and might need a helping hand from Netflix.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, is currently getting set to fully launch her new brand and has taken the first steps to promote it by sending out 50 homemade jams and preserves to famous faces and influencers such as Kris Jenner, Abigail Spencer, Nacho Figueras, and more. And while Meghan is making strides in peaking the interest of fans, she has still failed to find a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to run the business.

While Meghan has reportedly interviewed multiple potential candidates to fill the role, she hasn't found the right fit yet despite starting her search five weeks ago. A California-based insider confirmed to the Daily Mail: "The initial CEO search has not panned out so far."

The Mirror has contacted Meghan's rep for comment.

And as Meghan faces troubles finding someone to fill the needed position, she has reportedly started negotiations to enter into a commercial partnership with Netflix. And if the deal is agreed upon, Netflix would reportedly take on the search to find a new CEO for American Riviera Orchard.

The insider explained: "This is something new for Netflix. It would run the lifestyle business with Meghan, developing products as spin-offs from her show. If a partnership is agreed, it's likely that Netflix would install its own CEO to run operations."

And while Meghan hasn't fully revealed everything about her new lifestyle brand, it has been revealed she will be selling an assortment of home and lifestyle goods. And while the full list remains a mystery, Meghan has announced that she will be selling delicious strawberry jam with talks that she will also be selling limited edition honey.

This comes as Meghan has previously announced that she is in the early stages of working on a cooking show with Netflix that will "celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertaining and friendship." The new cooking series will be run by the same showrunners as the fan favourite series Selena + Chef, lead by famous pop singer Selena Gomez. And while Meghan may have never been trained as a professional chef, she does have plenty of experience in the kitchen whipping up delicious recipes as she used to regularly concoct and write recipes on her old lifestyle blog the Tig.
