Carrie Bickmore has sparked concern by sharing an alarming photo to social media. 

In the frame shared to Instagram, the 44 year old is seen red-faced and teary-eyed as she looks blankly into the camera with her right hand covering her mouth. 

In the accompanying caption, the TV veteran explained she sent the image to a friend recently after she had a terrible day.

'Scrolling through my camera roll this morning I found this photo I’d sent a friend a few months ago when I was having a terrible day and she had checked up on me,' she began. 

'I don’t often post on the days I feel crap (and there are a lot of them) because I usually go quiet. But I thought it was worth sharing. 

Carrie went on to let her followers know that bad times do get better.

Carrie split from her partner of 11 years, Chris Walker, in 2022. 

The couple co-parent three children, Ollie, Evie and Adelaide.

She has recently been linked to comedian Tommy Little.
