The Block's Sharon Johal in talks to sign TV deal with Channel Nine: 'They can see the value I bought to the show'

Sharon Johal is exploring further options with Channel Nine, despite being vocal about her bad edit on The Block.

'They can see the value I bought to the show, and the ratings, and people were interested in our journey,' she told The Herald Sun

'I wouldn't be surprised if something with Channel 9 comes out of this.'

Sharon continued: 'Ankur wouldn't be on another reality show but in the lifestyle space there are so many brands that have reached out to me because I'm in line with them in authenticity and we took some risks and that reliability is something that will continue on with this.'

After passing their home in at auction, the couple sold the property for $4.25m to millionaire Adrian Portelli, who controversially bid on the house of Omar and Oz.

It gave them a profit of $170,000 with Portelli also keen to buy the car they won during the series.

The couple, regarded as the most controversial team from this year's season, recently told Daily Mail Australia that they are moving to their family farm in South Australia.

'We need a holiday. We're a hundred per cent going to take a break and then reevaluate what we want to do next year,' Sharon revealed.

'I think what we are going to try to do is go back to South Australia, where we are from, and spend time on the family farm in the vineyards and just have a good time.'

'I grew up on a farm and I love it, and my future is always going to be on a farm. We are just figuring out when,' added the former Neighbours star.

Sharon revealed the couple will 'probably try for a baby next year, and then when we have a bit of a bigger family we will a hundred per cent move to the farm full-time.'

While she loves living in the city, Sharon said her long-term plan was always to move out to the country.

As for her future career prospects, she is looking to get a start in interior design when she's not busy with acting jobs or auditioning.

Sharon also confirmed her husband Ankur is still working as a director at his financial firm, and has in fact been 'promoted twice since the show'.

This is despite his skills as an accountant being called into question by host Scott Cam and foremen Dan Reilly and Keith Schleiger.

'He copped s**t for being an accountant on the show, but his bosses couldn't be lovelier. They love him. He's really great at what he does, so he isn't going to run away from that profession anytime soon,' she said.

During the season, they were forced to deal with drama surrounding their builders and faced a $53,000 budget blowout.

The pair took the defeat in their stride, with Sharon saying 'it could have been a lot worse'. They expect their home will find a buyer in the coming months.
